These are the principles that guide how I show up, write, share and engage.
Everything I share reflects my own thoughts, experiences and interpretations.
Yes, I use AI. It’s 2026+. Of course I do.
But I use it the way it should be used: as a human enhancer – never a replacement for my judgement, ethics, lived experience or voice.
What I write comes from my own journey: the lessons, the mistakes, the uncomfortable bits, the wins, the flaws, the humanity.
I don’t write from a place of perfection or authority.
I write to make sense of my world, to connect, to reflect, to grow – and to remind all of us that being human is messy and magnificent.
I am learning out loud.
Please treat anything on this page (or in any interaction with me) as an invitation to think, not a final truth.
Any stories I share about work, teams, parenting, co-parenting, clients or relationships are
anonymised, adapted, or shared with permission.
I protect the dignity, privacy and humanity of the people in my life, as best as I know how and with good intent – always.
I fully acknowledge that lived experiences differ: wildly, beautifully, and sometimes painfully.
What shaped me may not have shaped you.
What I’ve learned may land differently in your world, your culture, your family system, your trauma history, or your season of life.
I don’t assume my perspective is the truth. It is simply my truth, shaped by my story, my mistakes, my context and my lens.
I honour that people carry different histories, privileges, identities, wounds, relationships and responsibilities.
So anything I write is meant to meet you where you are, not tell you where you “should” be.
Take what resonates. Leave what doesn’t.
You are the expert of your own life, not me.
Nothing I share should be seen as financial, legal, medical, psychological or professional advice.
Please always consult the right professional for your specific situation.
I am not registered with formal coaching, counselling or psychological governing bodies such as the HPCSA, SACSSP, SABPP, COMENSA or ICF.
Mentions of tools, books, companies or products are not paid endorsements unless clearly stated.
My views evolve as I learn, unlearn, and grow.
What I believe today may shift tomorrow, and that’s exactly how it should be.
Growth is the point.
My intention is always to be kind, even when I am being direct, honest, disruptive or thought-provoking.
I believe we can challenge systems, norms, behaviours and beliefs without belittling people.
My goal is never to shame, insult or diminish anyone’s experience.
I don’t write to be superior; I write to start conversations, to reflect, to question, and to open the door to deeper human understanding.
I will always aim to hold a balance between:
☑ Courage and compassion
☑ Disruption and dignity
☑ Honesty and humanity
If something I say lands sharply, please know it’s meant to spark reflection, not harm.
The world doesn’t need more harsh voices. It needs more brave, anchored and kind ones.
That’s who I try to be.
If anything I write ever falls short of these principles, I ask that you challenge me — the same way I hope to challenge you.

Trigger warning: Some topics I write about may touch on emotionally sensitive themes. Please take care of yourself and engage only in a way that feels safe for you.
